Misogyny in Horror: I Spit On Your Grave

My good buddy Count Jackula of the Count Jackula Show recently started a three part series on misogyny and it's relationship to horror movies. His first part is an hour long examination on the criminally underrated rape-revenge classic I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE a.k.a. DAY OF THE WOMAN from filmmaker Meir Zarchi, and starring the ever beautiful scream queen Camille Keaton. These videos are definitely a must see.

  1. I really enjoyed this. It was so well done. The part talking about the rape scenes was presented so tastefully. Even the humor of adding the MLP clips as censor bars. I loved the music used too. And when it changed over to talk about Jennifer's revenge and the music cue changed as well...damn that was cathartic. Bravo! I look forward to more ^^
